I’m not a big sports drink person.  I never have been.  So when I was asked to review BODYARMOR SuperDrinks, I brought my husband in. My husband seems to always have some type of sports drink in his hand.  Which is why we decided to do this review as a team.

The details:

BODYARMOR SuperDrink’s come in 16 oz bottles, that are roughly 140 calories per bottle.  Not too shabby.  They come in a 7 flavors: Fruit Punch, Orange Mango, Strawberry Banana, Tropical Punch, Grape, Lemon Lime and Mixed Berry.

The BODYARMOR SuperDrink boasts natural flavors, electrolytes, 600 mg of potassium, coconut water and a slew of vitamins in every bottle.

The Good:

Almost all the flavors were amazing.  It didn’t taste like a sports drink.  It tasted just like juice.  Our favorites were Strawberry Banana and Orange Mango.  Great flavor combinations.

The Bad:

Out of all of them, we didn’t care for Lemon Lime.  The flavor was a little off for us, maybe because the coconut water flavor came though a little more in this one?  I’m not really sure.

The Result:

If BODYARMOR SuperDrinks had been the first sports drink I had ever had, I would have thought differently of sports drinks a long time ago.  It really does taste just like juice and if you had given it to me in a cup, I couldn’t have told you it was an sports drink.

They give you enough energy to keep you going, whether you’re heading to soccer practice or dealing with toddlers climbing all over you.  It’s also great for kids, keeping them hydrated while they play that soccer game! And my husband, can’t get enough.  He loves the way they taste and when he’s at work BodyArmor keeps him hydrated throughout the day.
